Hey there!
Finally, I can say I played through Super Mario 3 (on NES Classic Mini which was released in 2016). It required a lot of patience. So colorful game! Joke on the end of the game was killing.
Over all, I know hardcore players had to deal with more patience because there was no "true" save states or passwords like on NES Classic Mini. Yes, they had work around, hidden passages and stuff.
I needed item "Cloud" to escape some of the levels. So I didn't played some of the levels.
Last time I played Super Mario 3 was in 90's on NES.
I didn't finish the game in 90's, so this was huge relief for me 'cause I saw how creative this game is and of course I saw ending credits. It can be played mutipled times and still find something new.
I also didn't know there's so much levels up and different items like:
-Toad Mario
-Tanookie
-Hammer and other stuff...
It is frikking awesome!
So I see how this piece of art can be expensive and memorable!
I used to write down where are the cards (mini game). It has semi-random thing.
